Mindy Looney Japan 2026 Missions

Short Story:

This spring, a team of 12 men and women from my church will travel to Tokyo and Nagoya (March 20th - 31st) to help families who have returned home find support and encouragement while trying to integrate into a church home.

Long Story:

Since moving to Michigan, I have spent the majority of my time volunteering at my church by teaching English to our international community - I work specifically with the Japanese. Last year, I was part of a 12-person missions trip (our church’s first to Japan) with the goal of meeting with pastors, missionaries and churches on the ground, as well as, connecting with our friends who have returned home. 

This past spring, I was invited to go on a smaller, more targeted trip with our pastors to Tokyo and Nagoya. Through these relationships, our church now partners with a large church network within Japan, as well as, Christ Bible Institute in Nagoya.
