Dear friend,

I hope and pray this letter finds you well. The reason I am sending you this letter is to share with you about a project I have been deeply involved in since 2018, traveling to Ecuador six times to serve alongside this incredible ministry.

As you may know, I’ve participated in the building and opening of Fundación Rescate in Sucua, Ecuador—a foster home dedicated to rescuing, rebuilding, and restoring the lives of children, youth, and families through God’s great love. Founded in 2012, Fundación Rescate provides a safe haven for children escaping abusive, unhealthy, or unsupported home environments. The organization works tirelessly to rebuild and restore the family unit by offering essential resources, including medical care, spiritual guidance, psychological support, and social services. We believe that God has a beautiful plan for each of these precious lives, and it’s a profound privilege to play a part in that.

From February 11-22, 2026, I will be returning with a team of 6 adults to Sucua, where the foster home is now thriving. This trip marks an exciting milestone: we’ll be leading a full 5-day Vacation Bible School (VBS) program centered on the theme of forgiveness, drawn from the powerful story of Joseph and his multicolored coat. As Co-Leader, Translator, and Logistics Coordinator, I’ll help facilitate engaging Bible lessons, games, crafts, and activities that bring Joseph’s journey of betrayal, dreams, temptation, and ultimate reconciliation to life for the children. Our goal is to share the good news of salvation, foster meaningful connections with each child, and equip the on-site staff and missionaries with fresh ideas and encouragement to continue their vital work.

I am humbly asking for your help to make this trip possible. The total cost is $3,200, covering airfare, ground transportation, lodging, food, and materials for the VBS program. This is such a profound opportunity to bless and be blessed—experiencing God’s forgiveness in action while investing in the hearts of these resilient kids. I understand that not everyone can travel to be the hands and feet of Jesus in person, but so many can join this mission through prayer and partnership.

Will you consider partnering with me in God’s work at Fundación Rescate by providing a financial donation of $100 or more? Any amount is gratefully welcomed and fully tax-deductible.

The first deposit is due by January 22nd . I’m including a self-addressed, if you decide to help this missionary journey, please make checks payable to Oak Pointe Church so we can provide a tax-deductible receipt. Do not write my name in the memo section or anywhere on the check; instead, please write  a separate note with my name.

Thank you for prayerfully considering this request. Your generosity will help weave threads of hope and healing into the lives of children who need it most—much like the multicolored coat that symbolized God’s faithfulness in Joseph’s story.

In Christ’s love,

Victoria

Fundacion Rescate fosters kids who have suffered from abuse, malnutrition and family trauma. This year, I will be Co-leading a group that will assist with Biblical teaching through a week long VBS focusing in forgiveness and who God is and how much He loves us.

Please partner with me by sending me to Sucua, Ecuador on February 11 to 22 so we can be part of God’s plan.
